28-10-07	filming complete! All filming on HOMETIME has been completed. We would like to thank all the actors for their dedication, and everyone else who gave us their time. Without your help this film would not have been possible. The film is now in Post production and is coming together extremely well. We have just agreed with a local band - Superego - to do the music for this film. We will be using songs from their album 'Ain't seen Nothing yet'. Click on SUPEREGO to view their website. 11-07-07	the first weekend of filming legends After weeks of preparation and prop collecting we finally began filming Dark Legends: The Interviews.We began on Saturday (07/07/07) where we filmed The Ghosts of Skail and Count Dracula, and then filmed The Invisible Man on Sunday (08/07/07). 09-07-07	the first hometime auditions Orkney Movie Group's first fully funded project -HOMETIME- will be having its first round of Auditions this Thursday (12-07-2007). They will be held at the Pickaquoy Centre at 7:30pm in the Lochans and Skerries rooms, next to the Staduim Cafe. This first round of Auditions will be for three characters (two male and one female) of around fifteen years of age. If you are interested please come along.

21-06-07	Quirk of Fate and A Scream in the Night on TV The two films have been accepted for transmission on Propeller TV (SKY channel 195). Both films were finished and Premiered in Orkney in December of last year, and were sent off to Propeller earlier this year. The times and dates are as follows: Propeller will be broadcasting our films on SKY channel 195 as part of the next 5 week schedule. Quirk of Fate will be transmitted on Saturday 23rd June at 22:01 A Scream in the Night will be transmitted on Saturday 23rd June at 22:15 Check www.propellertv.co.uk for daily listings. This is a great opportunity for the people who missed the Premiere to see our films.

01-03-07	Orkney movie group's agm announced . Orkney Movie Group's AGM will be held on the 15 March 2007, at the Pickaquoy Centre's Stadium Cafe. The AGM will begin at 7:30pm. Agenda: the Treasurer’s report (View of books), election of the committee and review of membership subscriptions. We will follow the AGM with a normal OMG meeting and discuss our next projects. All are welcome. If you are interested in filmmaking then this is for you!
